The Tellus Museum offers visitors a chance to explore numerous exhibits, four galleries, a Solar House and digital planetarium, and even offers a Fossil Dig and Gem Panning. The museum is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and July 4th.
Prices for the museum include the Fossil Dig and Gem Panning, and run $12 for adults, $8 for children ages 3-17, $10 for seniors, $8 for students (with id), and free for children under the age of three. Planetarium rates are an additional $3.
